Latest News / Wordpress 3.1 released

1. Wordpress internal links (finally!)

This has to be one of the most requested features since the beginning of Wordpress and I’m surprised it has taken this long to implement. When you want to link to an internal page, you are now presented with a list of posts and pages to select from. No more trying to find the correct URLs. Yay!
2. Choose what you want displayed and where
You can now choose what you want displayed on your posts and pages by selecting screen options at the top and simply ticking the features that you do or don’t use regularly. This just cleans up the admin screen a little and will likely make everything load faster.
3. Admin Bar
Just to make things a little easier and quicker, an admin bar has been added to the top of your website (when logged in). There is also a plugin available that allows you to hide the admin bar.

What else?
There are tons of new features and these are probably the best. To me though, the addition of internal linking makes it more than worthwhile to upgrade alone.
